This lightweight pushchair by Ickle Bubba is packed with lots of features that parents will love. The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to understand why it's received the highest praise from customers. It's extremely light - the chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg and it's super-easy to construct. In fact I was able get the whole thing up and running in less than five minutes, which is pretty amazing given that it included the tying of the fabric to the carrycot!

It has a comfortable, wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months) and the recline lever is simple to use. The basket has plenty of room and I like that the handle bar has a pocket to keep your phone and keys safe.

The handlebar is a bit low, which can be an issue for parents who are taller. However, it's coated with a luxurious leather-like material that's soft and comfortable and cleans down easily, meaning it's still easy to push even with children and bags on your hands!

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is designed for athletic parents who want to go outside and explore. Its large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on forest and field paths and the front three wheel buggies can be rotated and locked for extra versatility. It also has a padded 5-point safety harness and front bar to keep your little one secure on all journeys while the parking brake reliably prevents the stroller from moving even when you take a break. The comfortable seat is easy to adjust down to a lying position, and the canopy opens up with netting to ensure maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate the needs of dad or mum.

Whether you're going for a quick jog or a hike that lasts a while The Runner will be there to accompany you on your journeys with a reclining, fully-flat seat and suspension air wheels that guarantee an unhurried ride. The front 3 wheel pushchair travel system can be locked to provide greater stability on narrow streets or overcrowded sidewalks. It's also, like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo it's car seat-compatible so you can use it from birth (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace has some fantastic design features, like a rose-gold shade on the chassis, hood, and stroller trims that really set it apart. The grey, tan and cream fabrics in the stroller and the car seat are fashionable and there's an option to add a co-ordinating leather handle for the cover and bumper bar too.

It's suitable from birth to a max weight of 22kg. The stroller seat converts easily from a carrycot to the 2-in-1 reversible mode. It can be parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat features multiple lie-back positions, comfortable padded leg rests, and an extendable sun canopy that has zip-off sections that are concealed and a transparent flap, and a retractable visor.

What's more, when it's folded, the Pace measures 56 32 x 43 cm which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair, among other carriers. Two buttons on each side are easy to use and can be clicked into place.

They also have a handy flap that opens or closes to let more air in when you require it, which is a nice touch. It's a bit bigger than other pushchairs, however it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when you push it over bumpy surfaces.

The fabric of the seat can be machine washed, and the faux leather frames and grips are easy to clean. It's also much quieter than many pushchairs and I felt confident using it in busy city streets. It has integrated accessory points, so you can attach footmuffs and parasols and also changing bags, snack trays, and even snack trays. You can also use the hood to block rain and wind, but it isn't particularly waterproof. The single pram can be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled board (not included) which allows your child more leg room. The bassinet took 20 minutes to set up and it took the same amount of time to transform it into a seat.
